To the editor:

Thank you to Mt. Auburn Cemetery for retiring its fossil-fueled equipment. In due time I will be buried there with my family, and I will rest more peacefully knowing that no carbon emissions will accompany the care of my grave. And if more institutions did likewise, millions of people would not go to their graves so soon.
