Lacrosse team makes remarkable comeback
The Cambridge-Arlington 7/8 grade boys Massachusetts Youth Lacrosse Division 2 Select Lacrosse scored a stunning come-from-behind victory over Lexington in a semifinal playoff game.

The team, formally the Arlington-Cambridge Demolition Crew, or AC/DC, trailed 7-2 at one point before rallying to tie the game 8-8 and force overtime. In the extra period, Cambridge’s Ryder Kavet scored the game-winning goal, sending the team into the finals.
The team is undefeated this season and ranked second in the state in Division 2. Lexington was the third-ranked team. Goal scorers in addition to Kavet were Cambridge residents Fletcher Rogers and Logan Tambiah and Arlington residents Bodi Wight and Sam Shoss.

The AC/DC Crew will play the winner of the semi-final between top-ranked Shrewsbury-Marlborough-Hudson and fourth-ranked North Andover, who play tonight.
The final will be at noon on Friday at Harvard University’s Jordan Field, 65 North Harvard Avenue. The team and its coaches urged people to come see the match.
