Apparent shooting death being investigated in Cambridge
A person was shot to death at Broadway and Norfolk Street apparently in the morning on July 4, the Cambridge Police Department (CPD) announced.

CPD issued a statement that an emergency call was placed a few minutes before 5:30 a.m. reporting a person laying on the ground near the intersection of Broadway and Norfolk. Police, fire and emergency medical services were dispatched. Paramedics from the Cambridge Fire Department declared the person deceased, apparently due to a gunshot.
The police said the circumstances are being investigated by CPD, the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, and Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.
